We are a registered charity (Number 1133116) and our Charitable objects are:

TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF EQUINES WHO ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND PROTECTION IN PARTICULAR BY RESCUE, REHABILITATION AND REHOMEING OR BY THE PROVISION OR MAINTENANCE, OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF STABLES OR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION AND CARE OF EQUINES WHO ARE UNWANTED OR RETIRED OR WHO ARE OTHERWISE IN NEED OF CARE AND PROTECTION. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS RELATING TO THE WELFARE OF EQUINES AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG SUCH EQUINES.

Sharon, our founder, has been taking in unwanted equines for over 20 years. When the demand for rehoming horses and ponies became overwhelming Hoofbeats was formed and since then has gone from strength to  strength.

Our only income is from generous donations and fund raising, because we are run entirely by a wonderful group of volunteers EVERY PENNY DONATED is used for the welfare of the horses and ponies.

We are always looking for new volunteers to help our existing team.  Please contact us if you would like to learn more about becoming a Hoofbeats Volunteer.
