Sarah is a NHS Physiotherapist in Plymouth and has been riding all her life, Originally she came to Hoofbeats on our part share scheme and since has taken Mally on loan. Sarah looks after our Plympton grazing, which has been kindly loaned to us by Mr and Mrs Westwood.

Sharon has been taking in unwanted horses and ponies all her adult life, and is passionate about keeping them as naturally as possible. She founded Hoofbeats in 2000 and until recently funded and ran it by herself with the help of her daughters Samantha and Rebecca, who are still actively involved in the day to day running of  Hoofbeats.

Laura is a Student at Plymouth university, she also originally came to Hoofbeats on our part share scheme and since has taken Henry on loan. As well as the accounts Laura is the first point of contact for many people who email the sanctuary and she helps with the everyday running of our main yard at Moreleigh.

One of our first Staff Volunteers Sam joined us in 2007, and ran it alongside Sharon and her daughters till the sanctuary moved into its current home in 2008 and new volunteers joined us.   She is a hairdresser in Plympton, Plymouth and Has Ryan on Loan. Sam runs our grazing at California Cross, the use of which has been kindly donated by Mr and Mrs Handslip.
