Based near Tavistock in West Devon, Pegasus Horse Travel are able to provide horse transportation to all of the south west and most other parts of the U.K. Our aim is to offer a personal and caring service from yard to yard, ensuring your horse spends the minimal amount of time on the box.
We do not share loads unless by prior arrangement. However, should you wish to share to keep costs down, it may be possible to combine transporting your horse with someone else and doesn't always mean you'll have to share the box but just the cost. Our horse box is compact enough to reach the most inaccessible of places.
We are insured for public liability, care custody and control. We are covered in the event of a breakdown and we are DEFRA authorised for type 1 journeys (which is for journeys over 65km or 8 hours). We have a certificate of professional competence in the transport of horses. The driver has had 35 years of experience with horses.
