Introduction

Welcome to Hoofbeats Online Community. This is a wonderful resource that brings the Charity and its supporters, loaners and equines together in an online community forum. The aims of this Community are simple. It is designed to bring us all closer together; even where we are geographically dispersed, and to act as a platform for sharing information, hints, tips and all sorts of other inputs related to our mutual love of Horses and Ponies.

The Community is not here to compete with established online forums for equine lovers, but is here to complement those, and to give our supporters, staff, users, friends and Hoofbeats acquaintances the platform needed to help us do the best job we can for our equine friends.

A registration (login account) for access to and from the Community is provided to our members by Hoofbeats staff.  If you are interested in taking part in our community please Contact Us and we will be happy to discuss it with you.  Primarily the community login will be provided to each Sharer of our equines, whether that be on our Dream Scheme, or the Full Loan Scheme.  As a patron or client of the Hoofbeats Charity you will automatically receive your login details as part of our service to you and your horse.

Our Community features the following elements to sponsor open dialogue and understanding of the needs of the Hoofbeats Herd;

• Access to see other Hoofbeats patrons profiles and the horses they are caring for
• An online discussion forum for group discussions and activities
• A Wall (just like Facebook, but for horse lovers!)
• Your own online photo gallery so you can upload your favourite equine and event pictures
• and many other elements that allow you to continue to share and expose your journey with your equine well beyond the day you become a Hoofbeats patron or client
